Hatha Vinyasa

In the Hatha Vinyasa yoga teacher training, you will will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the asana experience as you learn to teach basic Hatha yoga series with focus on breath coordination, lines of energy, modifications, and adjustment.

The practices of pranayama (science of breath), meditation, and chanting will be introduced to enrich you as well as provide you with the skill to lead these practices as they might relate to a yoga class. You will learn how to give guided classes and become teachers of asana and meditation.

Ashtanga Vinyasa

The Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher training will push you to go further than you ever thought possible. Known as the most physically demanding of the yoga’s, Ashtanga Vinyasa embraces the philosophy that it is through your physical bodies that you will clear your mental bodies which allows the true self to shine forth.

This process unfolds by carefully following an eight-limed path laid out by the Sage Patanjali. In the training, you will focus on the eight limbs of Ashtanga yoga. You will study in depth all eight limbs and practice them.

You will be learning the primary series of Ashtanga yoga (yoga Chikitsa), how to give guided classes and become teachers of asana. You will also learn to steady the mind (dharana) and focus the mind (dyhana) and work towards entering into mediation (samadhi).

For both trainings, you will be studying the yoga sutras of Patanjali, Hatha yoga Pradipika, anatomy of yoga, pranayama, and Aryuveda among other subjects.

Pranayama

As humans, you are expressions of the universal pranic energy or the prana (life force). However, improper lifestyles and unconscious untrained ways of breathing processes hamper your life force and unbalance your body and mind increasing stress, anxiety, and fears in your minds. Ayurveda & Naturopathy

Ayurveda is considered by many scholars to be the oldest healing science. In Sanskrit, Ayurveda means “The Science of Life.” Ayurvedic knowledge originated in India more than 5,000 years ago and is often called the “Mother of All Healing.” It stems from the ancient Vedic culture and was taught for many thousands of years in an oral tradition from accomplished masters to their disciples. Some of this knowledge was set to print a few thousand years ago, but much of it is inaccessible. The principles of many of the natural healing systems now familiar in the West have their roots in Ayurveda, including naturopathy and yoga therapy.
